Johnston's logo has been a classic for years, but they had no brand to speak of. We worked with Melissa to identify JPD's dream client: a savvy, sophisticated shopper à la Diane Keaton. We built out a full brand from there, creating a classy color palette, brand new icon, and custom-crafted patterns inspired by decorative tiles and other interior elements.

When you've been around for 90+ years, you really know your stuff. Everyone at Johnston Paint is a career expert in their field, unlike employees at some big-box home stores who move from one department to the next.
We turned to content marketing to put JPD's expertise on full display. From answering customers' questions to highlighting trends and celebrating employees, we've created a robust library of content to build JPD's know, like, and trust.

Much of Johnston's business comes from their close, personal connections to contractors who trust JPD's expertise and quality service. But a huge goal of our work with Johnston has been to attract more everyday shoppers: individual families looking for a new paint color, redoing their floors, or checking out new lighting fixtures.
To target these customers, we've created social media campaigns to remind everyday community members of Johnston's long history and expertise.
