My name is Barner and I am addicted the Pinterest. Most people say admitting your problem is the first step to recovery, but this is one addiction I wouldn't mind keeping around. It's official I am addicted to Pinterest. It has been added to my morning routine between checking my email and checking my Facebook. Yes, that is right my routine now is email, Pinterest then Facebook. For something to earn a morning spot before Facebook is a huge deal for me (yes, I am of THAT generation. You know the one that wants everything now and never gets off Facebook).

I just found out about Pinterest recently so for those of you who havent heard of it, it is a place where you can 'pin' (or post/tag) images/ideas to your boards. Boards are used to categorize your pins so you can later go back and find them again. The website is basically a virtual inspiration board. So for those of you like us, both literal and virtual desktops get taken over by magazine clippings and links to great designs Pinterest is a space saver. You can literally pin ANYTHING! From DIY projects, fashion, design, photography, tattoos, recipes, the list goes on and on and on. I could rattle on about this website for paragraphs so it is probably just best to show you some of the amazing things you can discover.

It is simple. It is concise and I love it. What a great save the date! There isn't any unneccesary type and the same repetitive wording that every save the date has isn't even there. Heck, it doesn't even say save the date but you know exactly what it is. That is great design. Check it out on Pinterest here!

This is a DIY project to make brown paper sack lunches a little more fun. While it may take a little while to make and it being a brown paper bag it probably wouldn't survive your third grader for more than a day it is still really cute and fun! Pinterest shows you how here!

Story. Of. My. Life. This is such a clever way to have a big clock on the wall without it looking absolutely ridiculous or too large. It is funny. I'd bet that you'd get a smile out of anyone who came into your house and saw it. It is pinned here.

I feel as though I don't need to list all the reasons why I find this adorable and all the reasons why I'll probably do this when I have kids someday (far away from today). It is a picture of your adorable child with a list of everything that was the highlight of their year. It would be hard to remember each kids favorite toy every single year but with this you have an easy way to remember and a cute way to display it all! It was pinned here.

It is simple, it is unique, and it is adorable. The last line of 'she asked him' just puts it over the top. This literally made me smile when I first saw this. How cute to take two fingerprints and turn it into a heart. Here it is on Pinterest.

Pinterest has a lot of DIY projects as well. One of my favorites I've found is a DIY Doily Lamp. There are a couple simple steps you can take to make this cute and creative lamp. 1.) blow up a balloon. 2.) take doilies and modge podge (or papier mache) and paint the doilies to the ballon. 3.) once the balloon deflates naturally...don't pop it, you can put a lightbulb inside it creating a lamp.

Check out Pinterest now, just know that if you do you may have one more thing on your todo list everyday. :)
